Last week I shared our first trip to Cape Cod. The version with beautiful weather, a ferry rides to Nantucket, and all the East Coast charm I had imagined growing up on the West Coast. This week is another way to do Cape Cod, specifically, what happens when it rains the entire weekend.

Last fall, I took a group of girlfriends to the Cape for a long weekend. When Donnie and I first visited, we went in early October and had perfect weather. Naturally, I booked the exact same week for our girls’ trip. Little did we know we were in for non-stop rain.

Originally, I had planned to take everyone to Martha’s Vineyard, but with the torrential downpour, taking the ferry was out of the question. This is everything we did instead.
