Trip Recap: Mayakoba
Sometimes the best vacation is the one you've already taken before.
We just flew home from a much-needed beach vacation in Mexico, and friends, I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again — there is a beauty in a four-day trip in the sun. Minimal effort, maximum results.
A Restorative Trip
Up until recently, any free time we had available, we flew to France to oversee the renovations of Maison de Frédéric. Now that the house is complete (well, is a house ever truly complete?) we can spend time elsewhere. It had been three years since we’d been to Mayakoba, and a lot has changed since our last visit.
If you’ve read my previous post, I did a full breakdown of the four resorts within Mayakoba. We stayed at the Fairmont this time, our fourth visit to this property out of at least a dozen trips to this area.
